Anyone ever been to or had the urge to go to Racheal , nevada and try to see AREA 51?

All the time! Especially this passed year. I'm totally addicted to the Area 51 vids on YouTube and I scan Google earth frequently to check out how to get there. I know it's something my wife and kids would never do so it's something I'd have to plan solo or alteast w/ someone else interested in checking out the base.

I always thought that maybe during a family trip to Vegas I could get away for a day or two to check it out.

Penoyer Farms circular pivot irrigation farms.

Go to www.wikimapia.org and type in rachel, nevada. Scan over the the circles and it describes what they are.

At one time Area 51 was a legitimate research area. Employees tried to sue the government and had a tough time doing so since it wasn't recognized as an actual site due to its secrecy.

My brother flew in there one time when he was flying F4's out of George AFB in the early 90's. He called it Dreamland. He had engine problems and that was the only place he could land. When he and his pilot landed everything was put away into hangars and all the doors were closed. He was instructed to not say anything to anyone about the site.

I'm guessing there is a water source out there somewhere and they use it as a means to grow crops.
