if so - can you help me out as to seating

i wanna get tix to the sunday, june 26 game vs. the SF steroids and as you can imagine - tix aren't easy to come by

i can get tix on field level 104 (by the RF pole)

or

plaza outfield 231 (by the LF pole)

i know the a's have a TON of foul ground at the stadium meaning seats are far from the action as is - and if i sat in 104 i'd be in row 36 which might put me near san jose so i am thinking of going with 231

any help people?

Id rather sit on the first base side ...... not that there is an immense difference between both of em....

I would have caught a tejada foul ball had the jerk in front of me not caught it...

Those aren't bad seats really. Still hard to fathom sitting there considering most nights infield seats are available. I would go with Plaza level, 200 level. Good seats at a good height when you are sort of far from the action. The Coliseum is a miserable dump really, only good thing for it is the convenience if you take BART.

Those games are nasty. You wouldn't believe the chit-talking that goes on in Bay Area sports. A's and Giants fans carry on like its the Niners and Raiders. I went to this matchup four years or so ago and there were two fights in our section, generally started by drunken fans of course. It sure didn't feel like baseball I tell you. I have been to plenty of Giants-Dodgers matchups, those are heated but at least somewhat respectful. Games in the Oakland generally lose all respect when the Giants, Red Sox, and Yankees are around.

i ended up getting the 231 seats for pretty much the same reason as wildbill said. as for the game - don't really care who wins for i am a dodgers fan (although they are pushing my limits this upcoming season) although there is NO WAY i am wearing anything dodgers to the game for i wish to live thru the game and make my flight home that night. and we are taking BART in for i am going with my cuz and he lives in fremont near the BART station and we will take it into town making it easier to get to the game - for i know driving and parking in that area is a BEEEEOOOOTTTCH!
