anyone else trying this strategy w/ PanAm?

just bet losers there from now on
and bet a winner elsewhere. and NO i'm not referring to point spread bets. bet Dog ML at panam and bet chalk ML at another book. Hope the chalk ML hits and after so many days your funds at PanAm will be nil. That is what I'm going to do.

What happens if you hit just 1 of the big dogs and then Pan Am does go under ? Betting these big dogs means if just 1 in 5 hits you will likely be moving more money into your Pan Am account, and what happens if 2 or 3 big dogs in a row hit ( I have seen it happen ).


Also, you are losing money with every play. There is usually a big difference when the ML's are so high. Like -800 and + 550.

I would never take this risk. If you currently have $500 in your PanAm account, doing this could end up putting $5000 in your pan am account. If things dont work out and they go under, there will likely be some bail out plans for us smaller players ( $500 range players), but if you advance the account to $5000 youre going to have a harder time getting a bailout.

scalping out - in a variety of ways - is an option but you better have a very large bank roll. me... i'd ride it out.

I think my plan will work as long as PanAm
doesn't completely shut down.

I seem to recall trying this strategy to move some money out of SIA. Next thing I knew, my account balance was at $20K, and I got my walking papers.

i only will be losing money if the dog ml hits.
for example

+300 dog at pan am
-400 fav at book X

bet 500 to win 1500 on dog at pan am
bet 2000 to win 500 on fav at book x.
if fav hits, you lose nothing. your funds decrease at pan am.
if dog hits, you lose 500 and your balance at pan am increases. a double whammy basically.

Doesn't sound like a great plan to me...you can either lose money or tie, but you can't win...

I'd just ride it out.

i tried it with the JC Capital group, and now my balance is up around 5k...of course i'm still waiting for a payout since january 2003!

If you are planning to move the $5000 out like this, you will need to hit the favorite 10 times to move the money out. ( every time the favorite wins you move $500 from Pan Am to book X ) The +300 dog will hit at least 2 times out of 12. This means after 12 plays you will have lost $1000 ( from the 2 dogs winning ), and you will still have a Pan Am balance of $4000. ( And thats if you are lucky and the dog doesnt hit 4 times in 12 ). So now you have to do it again with the $4000, and so on. You will lose so much money doing this, because the dog is going to hit sometimes. Then if PanAm turns out to be OK you will be pissed at yourself for all the money you wasted trying to do something that was unnecessary in the first place.
