Anyone else think the SMU/Tulane under is like 15 points too low?

Got over 48.5 but capped it at 72.

My lines are usually dead on and I only have 2 totals out of the 25 games I've handicapped this week so that's how tight my over/unders usually are. This one I was just way off and it's going up but just seems extremely low.

Anyone know anything?

Tulane has a very stingy defense so far this season and SMU hasn't been able to make anything happen on offense. Not counting their win over I-AA Southwest Texas (call if "Texas State" if you like, but it'll always be SWT to me) the Ponies have averaged less than 14 points a game, and even that is skewed a little bit because they put up 27 against the no-defense Rice Owls.

That is true but SMU gives up 30+ points to everyone and Tulane has a very strong offense.

Tulane's defense has looked good this season but they have played all running teams. SMU can't run and will throw 40+ times this game. Last season Tulane gave up 27, 28, 19, and 31 points to teams that threw the ball a lot. Also, Tulane lost some solid guys in the secondary in the off-season.

I think Tulane wins like 45-27 or so. SMU's offense can score against non-dominant defenses IMO.

Got Under 50 in UCONN/Louisville tonight if you are interested. Line up to 51 though so I'm not feeling as confident as last night. My line says 39.

I bet O48.5 and posted it when the line was available everywhere. My prediction was 72. The score ended at 61. I was 11 points off, the book was 12.5 points off.

I thought the whole point of this was to have a better line then the bookie and that's what I did... and it won.

as i said nice call on the over however you line was terrible when you look at the fact that it was nearly 20% off and by kick the line was 51 solid. books just need equal action they dont have to have it 'dead on (11 points)'
