Anyone else think Texas and Mack Brown can overcome the "curse" today?

Just curious as to everyone's thoughts on this big game this morning....I think Texas has looked like the better team so far this year, and getting 7.5 is a gift......however, they have definitely had it handed to them the last few times vs. oklahoma......do the longhorns finally get a little revenge today, and vault themselves up into the elite teams in the polls, or suffer another heartbreaking loss to OK, and play for another Citrus Bowl, or something....

For some reason i get the feeling Texas does it this year, and i love getting the 7.5......

What do you think?

what exactly does that mean....don't mean to sound stupid, but i hear that said, and not sure what it means....

I would guess it is "contrary" to the popular play, meaning i am going against the public.......is that right?

If it is, i am not afraid of John q. Public, i will look him in the eyes, and kick him in the ballz........

Just hope my Longhorns have the same mentality.......

+7.5 might be gift, but no chance that they win the game outright! I did take Texas plus the points though.

speaking of crappy coaching, think that was a big break for Texas, how OK handled that last series.......at the 5 yard line with the clock running but still :17 and OK spikes the ball to go for the FG with no timeouts....they had plenty of time to try a shot into the endzone, just have to make sure of no sack.......routes dont take :15 from that close.......

seems they "gave away" a chance for a td....

not that i am complaining...

I agree Teaser..seeing is believing and Texas NEVER wins big games..I have been fooled by them too many times, not today :finger: OU Shutout!

Would have helped if their QB coould complete a few passes, that guy is pretty much clueless when it comes to having any kind of touch on the ball.

Texas will drive anyone to drink...that was a typical texas big game performance..at times they will look 'in the game' but the end result is a loss, and they never cover these big games.

yup, i was wrong on this one.....I am becoming a believer now that Texas just WON'T beat them anytime soon.....

I think Texas actually played better in this game than OK, however, they fumble at the worse times, critical penalties, etc....OK doesnt make those mistakes....

They deserved the win and the cover...
