Anyone else think Mark Sanchez is a bad QB?

Whenever I watched him last year, he wasn't exactly lighting it up. I was puzzled how he got the starting nod over Mustain. Mustain went 8-0 as a Freshman at Arkansas. Arkansas has a forth the talent USC has.

I think Mustain finishes the year.

"BAD" might be harsh .... but not the normal quality of QB that we have come to expect from this program. Mustain looks superior to me as well, too bad he is a whiny bitch.

Mustain is probably the better choice for the future but Sanchez has put in his time and knows the system better. Hard to just push him aside after this much time there. He's not lacking talent either, Mustain is just better.

Sanchez could easily be a Heisman candidate in his Senior year. The kid has the talent to be a top player.

If he's healthy this year USC wins the NC, as long as they beat Ohio St (not sure they will).

Actually I've been reading where they say that Aaron Corp is the best of the 3 they have but he's just a Freshman.

And as far as Sanchez goes, he does actually have a cannon for an arm and if USC ends up in the NC game, he will be near or at the top of the Heisman balloting.

It's way too early to make that assessment of Sanchez at this point. He was forced to play last year when he wasn't ready and did a decent job. He has the talent to be All-American and he's surrounded by an outstanding supporting cast. I think the jury is still out....and I suspect he'll be pretty good....

I still don't understand why Mustain transferred to USC. Ego? He should have gone to a weaker ACC, Big East, or a Texas A&M type of school. He could end up on that bench his whole career after starting 8 games as a true freshman. Ouch!

As someone who is an obsessive USC fan and actually GOES to a lot of the practices, Sanchez is better than Mustain, and I was rooting for Mustain to do better, but I've seen that Sanchez is better

Corp isn't the best, that's just someone trying to stir the pot and say something different

I think whoever gets to boink Lindsay Lohan is the best.
That means "People" Magazine has the real low down on USC's top QB.

Bingo, Mustain might not ever play a down for the Trojans. Sanchez wouldnt have lost to UCLA 2 years ago like Booty did. I think Sanchez will be the best NFL qb the Trojans have ever had.

Yes, Palmer is like a statue and a sack/injury waiting to happen. He is find throwing to CJ if you give him time, but in the redzone he is a mess.

I have Vince Evans rated higher, Vince was stuck on a run orineted team with bad wrs on the bears.

If Mark Sanchez has his way, he'll be with the Jets in 2014

Since the preseason, Mark Sanchez has kept a relatively low profile.
The quarterback, who underwent season-ending shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum two months ago, has spent his time rehabbing, and on Tuesday he expressed interest in remaining a Jet beyond the 2013 season.
“It has been a dream come true to play here, and I don’t want to go anywhere else for sure,” Sanchez said via the Newark Star-Ledger. “I know I have two years left, and I don’t ever want that to end. I love being a Jet.
“I plan on being here. That’s all I’m thinking about, is coming back next year, leading this team and playing well. We’ll see what happens.”
The Jets have quite the quarterback predicament on their hands. Rookie quarterback Geno Smith has spiraled the past few weeks and hasn’t shown the ability to operate an NFL offense on a consistent basis. While they invested a second-round pick in Smith just last season, it’s never too soon to pull the plug on a project in the win-now league.
As for Sanchez, this season has been a clear disappointment, but he believes he’ll appreciate everything even more once he regains full strength.
“I don’t wish this on anybody,” Sanchez said. “Not even your worst enemy, you don’t wish this on. It’s hard to be away. It’s hard to not be in the locker room, be on the plane, be on the bus. Little things like that. You just miss it so much. When I first came back it was a Friday. The next morning it was Saturday. I’m doing my rehab and you start to see everybody show up coming in their suits and stuff, getting ready to take off for a game, and that just kills you.”

Sanchez is bad really, really bad but he still would have been much better than Geno Smith. Tavon Austin & Steadmen Bailey would catch 2 yard screen passes & run 50 yards after the catch making Smith stats at W Va. sparkle. Smith is terrible Sanchez was just bad!
