Of course we all understand that our government doesn't tell us everything. But the crazies that cry conspiracy on EVERYTHING are just as bad, if not worse, then the people who believe everything they are told by the government.

Also, their "proof" or "evidence" for every single conspiracy is all based on Youtube videos.......if that tells you anything

Have some friends that repost every crazy conspiracy thing on Facebook. Even if 10% of them are true the other 90% of obvious bullshit they post will convince people that they're fucked in the head and no one will ever believe them.

in the mean time, there were no weapons of mass destruction , we know now Microsoft told the US goverment about critical flaws in their products 'just in case they wanted to hack some government' , the NSA records about 80% of the calls made in /from to the USA, we know the banks conspired to sell junk bonds and in addition in London they were manipulating the libor rate

the CIA removed two democratically elected goverments in Guatemala and Chile and put two 'guys' who then proceeded to be quite nasty to the locals

then there is this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guatemala_syphilis_experiment

the incident that triggered the vietnam war

what do we need 'theories' for when there are things PROVEN that are super nasty????

The thing about conspiracies are they're more entertaining than the truth, although there is some truth to a lot of conspiracies, but the thing is they tend to make conspiracies a bit stretchy with adding a lot of extra info.

The reason why they add so much info is that they try to catch a the possibilities of what happened in the certain situation.

and if you want to see a living example of that, put the history channel , ancient aliens season 20 or something similarly crazy.......it sells, in fact I should come up with my own and just make money on it

It's the more boring conspiracy theories that I find the most interesting. Like why Joe Corzine spent $62 million of his own money to win a Senate seat that pays 170k. If somebody spends that much over the table, I would like to know what's going on under the table. I would love to see a record of how many people come out of DC as multi-millionaires, and richer than when they went in.. Especially those 25+ years Congressmen.

You kind of answered your own question.......when someone spends 62 million of their own money to buy a seat in a very exclusive private club like the senate, there is a pretty good chance he is being paid suitcases full of money for his vote.

Also, 25 years × 10 million a year = 250 million dollars (assuming this number) under the table & in an offshore bank account that none of us will ever read about because they are backed by some serious money & power.

Another good question would be is why are these guys on the senate for over 25+ years? Just like the president can't sit for longer than 8 years, we should have a time table for them.as well.

These guys are bought & paid for making a ton of money in the process while screwing the citizens when needed.

No conspiracy there. Senators/congressmen participate is basically legal insider trading. They all walk away millionaires despite the small salary

Also the perks to a job like that are unfathomable to the average joe.

Including the under the table perks...They have to be careful with insider trading when you have knowledge of something the public doesn't have. I would imagine there have been a few congreemen over the years that have had their hands caught in the cookie jar.

It's not against the law for a US Senator to profit from insider knowledge.

I'm not kidding. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island did this a few years ago.

I agree, not all forms of insider trading is illegal. They just have to be careful of what source they got their information from. And more importantly the timing of it and reporting it to the SEC. It can be tricky if your not paying attention. Just ask Martha Stewart. A multi-millionaire who went to jail for avoiding a $46,000 loss in insider trading.

You or I need to be careful. US Senators don't. He was called out for in on talk radio for a while and it was determined that he did not beak any laws because they are exempt

It is still illegal for a senator to make certain insider trades. But since Congress conveniently passed and then amended the Stock Act, it makes it much harder to follow the money. Personally, I think the only investments they should be allowed to make while in office are contributions to a government employee 401(k). But if that ever happened and they couldn't find a way to line their own pockets, we may have trouble finding crooks, I mean politicians to run for office.

To be in the "club" with these guys, you gotta be a criminal in mind.......those are the only guys selected to join their club.

Maybe that's the conspiracy ......that they all have to follow certain unwritten rules to please whomever.......

Excellent post. They don't have to account for anything unfortunately.

There are completely different standards for these crooks, and the uninformed and/or easily led voters keep re-electing these lying bastards.
