Anyone else seen the movie Taken?

burned the DVD last night and watched it. This movie kicks serious ass. Neeson is one bad mother fucker in this flick kicking some serious Albanian ass. Short & sweet, straight to the point with great action scenes. Forget about some of the unrealistic aspects of the movie (not too much to ruin it) and you'll be pleased. Check it out

Patrice O'Neil is talking about Taken on the O and A show right now.
He basicly says what Tater is saying, this movie is off the hook, and kicks serious ass.
It's right near the top of my list now.

The movie was ok, but give me a break. He went into Paris, fucked shit up and just left without any complications. Even when he was back in US they were like oh thank you for saving her, oh and i'll just get going.

Come on dont think too much, if you were worried about reality, than the initial phone conversation would been, i have more money than Walmart let me pay u 3 Million bucks and give me back my daughter, and the guy woulda said, Deal!

haha this was cool. I mean it's just popcorn, it's just supposed to be fun. I'm sure anybody could point out at least 20 things wrong in it. But it's just 90 minutes of action and Liam Nielsen kicking ass, and sometimes that's all you want out of a movie.

I am glad this thread was started, because I had no idea there was a rip of this online already. I kept seeing the commercials I am like wow I am looking forward to this. And lo and behold there is a DVD qaulity stream of this already on the net. Amazing.

Sort of like a low budget version of 'Commando'

I made a post about this movie a few weeks back....best action flick I've seen in 08...Neeson plays these types of roles better than anybody....yeah the plots cliche...but he makes it work....he was sick in Darkman...and he made Bale look like an amateur in Batman Begins....this guy should have had more roles in action movies....

Darkman? Whoa that's going back the memory lane right there. He's a great actor. Kinda weird to think of him as Oscar Schindler now. The last sword fight in Rob Roy was good too.
