I have seen this 57 times in my career watching NFL football....the NFl is so ticky tack about spotting the ball except for on the kickoff returns...
A player will be a good 1 -2 ft short of the 20 yard line and the refs always spot the ball exaclty on the 20 to start a drive, every time....
It must be some unwritten rule....just stick it on the 20.
