Buffalo has to travel 2 times zones west and play the pass happy Arizona Cardinals in the desert. Looking at Buffalo who of note have they really beaten? They handed it to the Seahawks who had paperboys as wide receives, then pulled out a 4th quarter win against a solid Jax team (good road win). Although they have won the past 2 weeks they haven't exactly looked great. They needed a late comeback against the disinterested Raiders, and were dominated in the first half against the woeful Rams.
The Cards on the other hand have only had 1 home game where they dismantled an improved Miami squad. They also have a win against the much improved 49ers. Sure they lost against the Jets and Skins, but everybody knows about their struggles playing east of the Mississippi. Plus everyone knows Arizona historically is much better at home.
The Cards will most likely be without Anquan Boldin (doubtful), but will more importantly regaining the services of Adrian Wilson (questionable). This should give their non existent at times defense a huge boost.
More importantly Bills db Terrence Mcgee will be out which isn't good when your playing the pass happy cards.

Like it as well. The Jets did embarrass them last week so they should want to show up at home. They also put together a much better 2nd half in that game.

everyones goy on multiple forums

The general public is still on Buffalo big this week. I know some sharps that are hitting the Cards with big money this week so there will be more bets on Buffalo, but I'm guessing the bigger, sharp money will come in on Arizona making the money pretty even.

ARI looks like a terrific play because the common bettor looks at BUF as a dog as a gift. But for the reasons you've mentioned, plus the absence of Bertrand Berry for ARI, makes this a no play for me. BUF should do what they want on "O", and so should the Cards, vice Boldin. So IMO the Over is the play.

there will be plenty of opportunities to play against buffalo down the road. this shouldnt be one of them. arizona is a play for the pseudo-sharps who are more worried about looking contrarian instead of recognizing that the bills are simply better than arizona across the board.

look down the road.

san diego will handle the bills. people should have that one circled.

in the meantime, buffalo will be 5-0 after this week. they didnt need a comeback against the rams. the game is 60:00 and buffalo pulled away comfortably as the game went deeper. buffalo hasnt even played their best game yet and they're 4-0. west coast is never an easy trip but arizona leaves a lot to be desired. while people are rushing to fade the bills, give it time and look down the road. there are plenty better opportunities in the coming month or so.

I like Arizona, but the line has come all the way down to BUF -1, and it's not a heavy peppering of small plays on the Bills driving the lines this early in the week. So yeah, the continued line movement is worrying.

i have to disagree, which is surprising because i am usually am on the same page with most you have to say. i for one I will have no interest playing a SD team with serious defensive deficiencies 3 times zones away from home at basically a pick (assuming what the line should be around). i have witnessed almost every single snap thus far this season that the Bills has taken. By far their best game was at home against Seattle in the opening week. The past 3 they have looked sluggish. Like I said they had to come from behind at home against Oakland. To be considered elite they should not have to come from behind against a team was in total disarray. Last week although the score looked like a big win they were totally dominated in the first half. Stephen Jackson was running wild and Stl was moving the ball consistantly. It wasn't until the 3rd quarter when Stl still had the lead, and they for some reason or the other decided to pass on 1st down (at the time Jackson was moving the ball extremely well), and trent green was hit causing a fumble and a td return. it was pretty much downhill from there, but i think the score was not an indication of how close the game actually was. IMO Stl severely outplayed them for 3 quarters and if they would have kept running, they could have won.
Regardless of their record I think the Cards are a decent team, esp at home. They have always been a different team playing at home. I don't see them having any problems what so ever moving the ball through the air, esp with Buffalo's thinned down secondary. Too many people put too much emphasis on team's last games. The big picture needs to be looked at. I thought Arizona would be a solid team at the beginning of the season and I still do. They have shown the ability to win home games and don't see any reason why that will stop this week. I think it's a good spot for them. Buffalo had to travel to St. Louis last weekend, fly home, then fly back out west. I think were getting some value on Buffalo's gaudy, but basically unproven record compared to Arizona's debacle last weekend. Throw in Arizona is gaining a key defensive component while Buffalo is losing one should only help matters. Either Ashton Youboty, or rookie Leodis McKelvin will be forced to fill McGee's (Buff's best db) shoes. Going up against the league 4th best pass offense and arguably the best wide receiver in the game should be a tough spot for them. I think Buffalo may get exposed this week so this may be the time to play against them while you still can get a good number. I'm not saying the wheels are going to come off, but I don't think this is a 12-4 team.

... isnt that what youre doing by focusing on the saint louis game? bills have truly struggled in one game all season - oakland.

I don't know, the Bills won at Jax after all. A projected playoff team before season began with a tough D. I think Bills roll the Cards.

not at all? i touched on how they didn't play particularly well against Jax, but were able to pull it out. I also said they got dominated by St. Louis for 3 quarters, along with playing poorly against Oakland. So it wasn't 1 game I was focusing on, but their last 3. I specifically said the only game they played extremely well in was their opener.

i don't know having to come from behind to win a game by 1, at home, against a lower tier team is what I consider a struggle. Their defense played well, but other aspects of the game weren't so good.

that oakland game might have been the first game in a long time where the bills special teams actually let them down big time. opening kickoff gives oakland a short field. then parish inexplicably fields a punt IN his own endzone and basically giftwraps 7 more raiders points. that was odd to see.

speaking of special teams, with Parrish still out that unit less threatening.

First off you honestly think Buff will start 5-0 with 3 road wins including traveling out west...playing a hard fought game with Stlouis then going right back out to the west coast and play another game in the heat. they have a bye next week and i think they could beat SD at home. so after the SD game the only hard games left are. plus if you think AZ loses and SF loses to NE then not one team in the west will be at .500 or better...i doubt that

@ NE
@ Jets (that is ??)
@ Denver

looking at the rest they have home games against

Jets
Clev
SF
MIa
NE

and road games against

@KC
@ Mia

This team could lose to AZ and still finish 12-4!!!!

I picked Buff to go to the playoffs before the year started as a 10-6 wild card but with Brady out they cruise to the division championship IMO. If they beat Arizona, how could they possibly lose more then 3 games!!!!

After the zona game i see at the very very most 4 losses. this is the best possible spot to fade the bills that i could see
