It's becoming more and more of a problem....quite honestly it's making me lose interest in betting. It's becoming no different than buying a scratch or pull tabs in many cases. LSU -7.5 today, Wolves ML Monday night against Dallas...other than that there's been 10 or so more instances just in the last 3-4 months alone.

Its always been tough enough to get the funds in, actually pick the winners, actually get the book to payout...and now we've gotta worry about the refs as well....I've been fairly successful doing this over the years but really don't think I'll still be betting after the Super Bowl. Too many factors controlling the outcomes...there's no edge any more.

Refs are humans, they make mistakes but majority of the time they are on point. If your capping comes down to some last fluke play like a safety in the end zone than you shouldn't be capping.

No, but they are annoying assholes who ruin the watching experience.

I'm losing interest because it's so hard to get funds in and out.

Capping is for suckers.

This wasn't just gambling related...seems in many cases the refs aren't even aware of the rules.

I am not sure if I am losing interest but I certainly am frustrated with what seems to be too much uncertainty. Yeah, my bowl picks have sucked, but it also seems as if these bowl games include some of the dumbest QB errors, play calls (Wisky in the red zone today), and clock management imaginable. It almost seems as if the risk of placing a standard wager goes from -110 to -150. You don't know what you're getting.

There's zero consistency either...I was at that Wolves game Monday night, never heard so many whistles during in NBA game, and I've been to a few hundred over the years...but no whistle when Love was fouled at the end...now MN was down 2, and is it a guarantee Love would've made them both, NO,..but the chance was there.

My haven't been the best either....every year it gets tougher with the bowls. Gets harder and harder to predict how motivated a team will come out.

You're just making excuses out of frustration. Betting might not be for you. Lots of tough losses are always gonna be a part of it. You can either handle them or you can't.

I've been doing this around 12 years. I know the game...I've never seen it like it has been since the GB at Sea MNF game in late 2012. There are no excuses out of frustration...I played poker for many years...never bring your emotions to the table, sports betting is the same way. There's no crying in gambling. The thing with the refs is out of control.

I mean true or not the refs really screwed the Steelers out of a playoff spot? That news broke Monday afternoon. This is a win now business...the refs screwing the SD/KC game up could've cost people jobs.

I dunno, I seem to remember horrible calls in every game since age 7.

I've never heard the announcers/broadcasters in all sports rip the officials over calls...like they have over the last few months.

So they didn't throw the flag on a 41 yard field goal and it's because they knew he would miss it? Or is the kicker in on the conspiracy to beat spreads for Vegas also?

NFL has been really bad this year, but that is why I try not to watch.

Its much easier just checking score updates.

Less stressful too.

the calls are getting worse.. main reason is the concussion issues out there. defensive players can't do anything to the offensive player.. Pass interference is a joke.. Mich St was down 10-0 yesterday with 3rd down inside the 10.. QB throws the ball 15 feet over the WR's head.. They call pass interference on a uncatachable ball.. Stanford gets off the field with just a fg, we might have a different type of game.. next series, Stanford WR gets blatantly shoved in the back and no PF call.. How do these obvious calls get so fucked up and now we have a big game being badly influenced by the ref calls... These aren't excuses as some would say in here.. These are facts and observations after watching the game with my own eyes

The thing that really frustrates me is instant replay. Just like the Lsu game. Ia Qb fumbled and that's what the call on the field was. No way in hell there was enough evidence to overturn that but they did. They can't even get replays right. I did not bet that game just so it doesn't sound like I'm whining
