Sure Miami beat La. Tech 48-9 last year but that was the 1st game of the season and Miami had something to prove. This week Miami comes off a tough win against rival Fla. State.

La. Tech has won both games this year. The first one against Nevada and the 2nd against cream puff La La La Lafayette.

I think Miami rests a bruised Frank Gore and La. Tech covers this 30-point spread as Miami has been known to be soft against weaker teams at home.

I like La Tech here for one simple reason: Ryan Moats. Damn, that boy is GOOD.

I agree, guys. If La Tech and Moats can get any kind of run game going, it will eat up clock and keep the total low, helping the 30 point cover.

Agreed. I think Canes are good but their offense has struggled since QB Berlin stepped on campus. He just does not get it as QB's go.

Taking the points on this one. There are a few lines like this one this week.

Miami will win but I don't think by the -30 or so spread.

I also like UTEP at +28' and UL Lafayette at +31 and I believe Idaho will also cover.

I remember taking Temple and the points against Miami last year right after the FSU game thinking Miami would have a let down. Miami won 52-14 and covered the spread.

La. Tech gave up some big points last year. I may have to think twice about this one.
