I had a little fun with Syracuse covering handily against #1 Clemson last week. So i thought I would take a look at another large home underdog.
Yes, yes, I know Kansas is 0-10. They are a horrible team. But they put in a good performance on the road against highly ranked TCU. To be fair, TCU's star QB went out in the first half. However, the QB isn't the only player on the field and Kansas' offense was able to score in a 17-23 loss.
Enter West Virginia who is 0-3 on the road. In their favor they lost to some tough teams: TCU, Oklahoma and Baylor. They are 5-4 so could they be trying for style points for a lesser bowl game if they win out their remaining 3 games to go 8-4?
Kansas plays Kansas State the following week so will they lay down toward the end of the game if they get behind large?
WVA plays Iowa State the following week so I see no look-ahead game where they will take it easy at the end of the game.
Any other ideas?
