I had a little fun with Syracuse covering handily against #1 Clemson last week. So i thought I would take a look at another large home underdog.

Yes, yes, I know Kansas is 0-10. They are a horrible team. But they put in a good performance on the road against highly ranked TCU. To be fair, TCU's star QB went out in the first half. However, the QB isn't the only player on the field and Kansas' offense was able to score in a 17-23 loss.

Enter West Virginia who is 0-3 on the road. In their favor they lost to some tough teams: TCU, Oklahoma and Baylor. They are 5-4 so could they be trying for style points for a lesser bowl game if they win out their remaining 3 games to go 8-4?

Kansas plays Kansas State the following week so will they lay down toward the end of the game if they get behind large?

WVA plays Iowa State the following week so I see no look-ahead game where they will take it easy at the end of the game.

Any other ideas?

Thanks cloverleaf.

I think Kansas is a bit of a different bird than Syracuse. At least Syracuse had some success in the past. I'm just wondering about Kansas' new found confidence and how far it will take them.

Hell, I'm struggling this CFB season but acknowledge Kansas ain't very good.

West Virginia has the fire power to blow them out.

Question is maybe...is WV up for the late season challenge.

I was thinking about taking Kansas + pts. I certainly wouldn't take WVU coming in there giving over 4 TD's

The line has gone down to 26 1/2 in some places. I've been reading where Kansas is stoked after their effort last week and are pretty optomistic. I'm going with Kansas +27 1/2.

at 28 points, it's KU or nothing. KU has shown a little fight in them finally and WVa is not a terrific road team. KU is still a bad team but laying this many points this late in the season is a bad idea

Add that WVU qb Howard injure his hand late against Texas. Holgorsen keeps things tight lipped, so I haven't heard the extent but he has had his throwing hand wrapped. Only passed 12 times against Texas anyway, so I bet you see a good dose of the run from WVU.
