Can't wait to "beat that white boy's ass", and went on and on about how he cares more about this fight than any other. Racism is definitely a 2 way street and the double standard is bigger than the gap between Michael Strahan's teeth

Who cares. The white boy is going to kill him anyway. And Im a black man. Hopkins need to sit his old ass down somewhere. I swear the division is becoming the 40 and above.
But I do agree with what your saying. But I do think black people didnt make it this way.
Don't you think it is a little strange how blacks, asians, hispanics and the (other) races can comment and joke about all races without any backlash but white people can't say shit or they get crucified.
Why is that?
I think it is because all of the other races have had their plight in history and had committed free labor into building this country so there is like a respect factor there. Majority of the races view caucasian's in America as a spoiled race who never got there hands dirty.
Boxings all about the Publicity to get the Cash in and if you want to make Money as a Fighter you have to buy into it. Hopkins is no mug and knows the time of Day better than most and in an Interview about a Year ago He had nothing but respect and admiration for Joe :drink:
Huge value on B-hop here at +250, the guy just wins. So what he lost 2 close decisions to taylor, before that had not lost in something like 13 years, and after those loses, won as a huge dog to antonio tarver and as a smaller underdog to winky wright, 2 fights in which he totally outclassed his opponent, and its not like those 2 are chumps or something.
He did the same thing in Puerto Rico with Trinidad. It is disrespectful, but sadly is what sells fights.
I was looking at the two fighters today and think Hopkins as an underdog is a nice play. He lost twice to Taylor, whose style he couldn't get, in close decisions, and has some two quality wins since then.
Calzaghe's opposition did not impress me nearly as much, and would gather that the thinking is Hopkins is jst too old. Same faulty thinking against Tarver.
Perhaps I'm missing something, but certainly raised an eyebrow at the price of this fight.
