I know it is a big deal that not one but two African American coaches are in the Super Bowl, but it's getting way to much pub already. I'm in no way a Rush Limbaugh, but isn't it about time a black head coach got to the big game? Now since two get in everyone is talking about how underrated black coaches are and how they deserve more of a chance and people are prejudice. Come on now, there isn't racism in the NFL as far as hiring head coaches. I don't think front offices don't hire a guy because he's black. It's annoying as hell. I guess it depends what your stance is on affirmitive action.

Anyone share the same thoughts or feelings?

If New Orleans had won, you would be overdosed with:

Youve survived many superbowls.

There is always a story. This just happens to be the one.

Cincy is right, along with if the Saints had one Katrina would have been re dramatized 10,000 times.

Last year it was the Bus and his final trip home.

Its always gonna be a "story" over hyped.

Just change the channel until kickoff. Then mute the tv:lol:

Unfortunetly the only time something like that bothers someone is when it actually bothers you that the 2 black coaches are in the Super Bowl. LOL..you say isn't about time that a black coach got into the big game when the few that was given a Head Coaching job had the worse teamswhen they took the job. I personally don't watch all the ESPN and other major channels talk shows on this historic moment but I'm damn sure not complaining. Also, what I do get tired of is Michelle Wie ongoing attempts to play in men PGA tournaments and can't win the women tournaments. Just my 2 cents

What if both teams had white running backs or one team had a defense with 11 white starters - would a word be said about it? Would it be alright for a white running back to be proud to represent his race at a position long dominated by blacks?

Good point Jim.

I understand ESPN blows everything out of proportion, but were already getting all the black analysts on the various shows talking about how disrespected they are and how many "Rush Limbaugh's" there are out there.

just for a response to your question...the NFL at some point probably had nothing but white running backs...Maybe thats something you wasn't aware of but it's true...so that's why it's not a big story unlike something happening that has never happen before

Well...Stve Nash has won the MVP in the NBA for 2 straight years and working on a 3rd year which is dominated by blacks. And you know the reason why it's not over blown? It has happen before. Just sit back put your TV on mute and watch something other than ESPN. It will go away once it's over and done. LOL..just like knocking boots with a pretty girl you haven't done before...it's news worthy till you hit it about 10 more times then its not exciting no more...lol
