Securing funding for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the event the loans they have on their books default. Guess what you idiots in Washington? The banks that made the loans and the people that took the loans deserve what they get.
Or for wanting to limit speculation in the commodity markets? Where does the liquidity in those markets come from you bozos on Capitol Hill? Let capitalism and free markets dictate the price of goods or whether or not banks will fail.
How about a little responsibility on the part of Washington, Republicans and Democrats alike? Or how about some individual, personal responsibility on the part of the people of this country?
I'm not saying to ignore the cases of fraud that are out there, nor am I saying that we should stop federal funding for those that truly NEED it. I'm simply saying to those that may be looking at the depths of foreclosure...you signed the paperwork, now go live with your relatives. They did it in the Depression and the country moved on nicely, we can do it now.
Unfortunately, by electing John McCan't or Barack O'blameya this ignorant mentality of "I'm a victim" or "I didn't know" or "It's not my fault", isn't going to change. Wake up America, suck it up, and let's change our attitude and let's see some real change in Washington in November.
