like last night's yankees game - i would wait and check the starting lineups before ya bet this one. this game is 100% meaningless to the braves - and like the yankees last night - we might see a LOT of really unfamiliar names in the lineup.

having said that - under NOCIRCUMSTANCES could i even dream about laying the wood with the cubs - NO WAY!

all i am saying is either pass or wait until the lineups come out and see who the braves are playing before you bet them.

Living here in Atlanta I was just listening to the pre-game show and here is the line-up

The game has been pushed back to 1:25

The headlines in the paper here was about Cox skipping Ortiz in the Division Series rotation.

Good Luck

I wouldn't be too quick to bet against Zambrano ! He is second in the nl with an era of 2.60 and He has not given up more than 1 run in his last 5 starts. I took Cubs at - 159 last night.

I agree with Kermit this basically a one game season for the Cubs...if they lose they watch the play offs at home.....plus I think Chipper is only in until he gets a 100 RBIs....if Braves win then the line up will be mostly bench on Sun......there is no wind here and it is sunny.

I made a small play on the under

Sunny and no wind ? Perhaps We should be betting the under 8 also because Thompson for braves has been very good since the all star break with a 2.43 era.

Now the Braves have to hold their breath and hope there is no broken bone in C. Jones hand.....he was wincing in the dugout when the trainer was examining his hand which is not good. I would think that it wouldn't be that tender so soon if it were only a bruise. What a waste.

What was wrong with thinking under here is that Thompson for Braves only pitched 3 innings and in come the scrubs

A Good lesson learned by all of us under bettors.....When a team has clenched the division never bet an under since they will save their starters for the Division Series.....why didn't we see this coming? I don't know...I thought the Braves would play for revenge for last year.

Another rule for a sure win....When Glaken post a play, go the other way and you will win for sure!

6-5 now.
