Anyway, I just received one saying "you need the Evidence Eliminator? It went on to say that

An effecient way of wiping your hard drive so that information cannot be retrieved if you get it confiscated or stolen or whatever.

I was thinking of ordering the Evidence Eliminator----When it hit me --I had an epiphamy--(allwayys liked that word, but can't spell it). Once I buy it not only will my spam increase, but I'll be on another LIST of people that bought it!

It's basically trading on fear and is no good anyway. OK, so it wipes your computer but the FBI can track all your internet dealings, WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE, under provisions of the Patriot Act.

i got it free 2 years ago. It wipes all cookies and other temporary files, using the same encyption techniques as used by the Pentagon.

So the task of piecing those files back together becomes practically impossible. It also cleans up your hard disk and other useful functions whilst it is being run.

I run it once a month.

On the link that Dante provided where it asks for user satisfaction the results were 44% satisfied and 56% dissatisfied with the product. So I'll have to pass--I'm still hoping someone can teach me to cut and paste.

Well does anyone believe that the government IS actually installing little black boxes at the ISP's to track users. Now, I'm not worried about the porn sites which I have been to (they are not kiddie porn, which is a big turn OFF anyway, but the run of the mill stuff, which is no big deal). This is why that if they pass the Kyl bill with penalties for the player-I will quit immediately!! Well I'm off to a doctor's appt in a little while. Your responses appreciated.
