I'm definitely thinking about it, but a few things are holding me back. For one, Coleman hasn't fought for two years and is coming off an injury that prevented him from fighting Lesnar. Secondly, he's 44 years old now, but at the same time he hasn't been in that many MMA fights, which interestingly enough is around the same amount that Randy Couture has been in, and he's still able to perform at that age.
A few reasons I want to bet on Mark: he's a 3-1 underdog, he has beaten Shogun before (although that was more of a freak injury), 5 minutes rounds tend to favor wrestlers more than 10 minutes rounds, in that he can ride a few takedowns for an entire round and win it 10-9. Also, the use of elbows on the ground could favor him as well. Shogun is also coming off a loss to Forrest, and pretty serious knee surgury.
All in all, I think at +300 Coleman is a good bet in this fight, but not fighting for 2 years definitely makes it a bit risky.
