Seymour,
Hotel Costes is the bestt hotel I've ever stayed in - the rooms are ok (small by US standards), the pool is awesome, the place is old. It's not that nice, but it's the most fun I've had when away. When you walk in you'll think it is 3 stars, not 5. By nightfall, you will never want to leave. It is the place to be in Paris and the Playboy level women come by the 100s. Place has an amazing ambience, special candles, great champagne, phenomenal restaurant. Probably the most fun place I've ever eaten. Just go.... If you don't stay there make reservations for dinner a long time in advance and plan to stay till about 4.
If I had to compare it, it's kind of a combo of the Delano for class and the Mondrian for activity, but just with hotter girls than both places combined. Read some reviews (Note those that do not like exclusivity did not like the place) cause there is nothing on their website - you can't even book online. You email them and they decide the price and whether or not they are open to your stay.
Regarding the swing club - definitely not an orgy. Kind of a normal night club with some people going at it in the corners. For someone not open to that, it will be shocking, but it's not one big orgy.
Had the name wrong slightly: Les Chandelles

In terms of European cities, Paris and Stockholm are my favorite. Also like Dublin and Amsterdam (was there for the world cup final). Not a huge fan of London, Barcelona, or Rome, but everyone says I need to try Barcelona a third time - I just can't get used to a place where nothing works (cell, internet, etc)... I'm heading back over Tuesday - Stockholm, Zurich, Geneva, Frankfurt, and London on this trip - mainly London.
