A friend and I just decided to take the Inside passage cruise. The only cruise I have been on was to Mexico on Princess and I had the time of my life. Looks like we will probably be going in early August on Celebrity. The Princess one works out better scheduling wise, but the agent said Celebrity is a lot nicer. Departing out of Seattle. Anyone taken this trip? Any advice or recommendations?
Obviously very interested in comparison of the different cruise lines casinos. Was very impressed with the one on the last ship (Golden Princess.) They had 4 or so roulette tables and maybe 10 bj tables and a ton of slots... One woman won $64k when we were sailing on the nickel slots.
Other thing I want to know is if the balcony size between Princess and Celebrity differs much.
...Appreciate any advice or recommendations on best cruise line for this trip. Going with a girlfriend so will two have two twin beds. We are going to definitely get a balcony. It's another $1000 or so for the suite on Celebrity but don't know how much more room that gets you. Probably will just stay with the deluxe room w/ balcony.
