Saw Kansas 3 times back in early 80's, twice with Queen. Did not appreciate Queens music until I hit my 40's. Way before their time.

I saw them last year. They were the outdoor entertainment between races at a local horse track....How the mighty have fallen..

I have seen that video a ton of times and the viking looking dude with the massive red hair always cracks me up. Singing backup vocals directly front and centre on the stage....not playing any instruments except for playing a tambourine like an idiot for a couple minutes and dancing around like an idiot the rest of the time?

I always wondered if he was actually in the band or won like a radio contest to be on stage during that shooting.

We had the trifecta of Loverboy/John Waite/The Tubes last weekend for our Venetian Weekend. Of course, it rained all day Saturday. I was looking forward to The Tubes.

Great live version...also the red haired viking gets a bit more cred in this video....good back up vocals and plays a nice violin.

I'll concede Kansas was a top ten act in the 70's, but I never got them, and never liked them.
