Cris offers it. It went under 1783.5 by 99 points tonight ! I only played it once ( over) and won with it. From what I see they total the games , then add about 2 points a game ( roughly). It looks to me if you like most of the games under, this could be good. The value seems on the under. If there were 2 games only , and you liked under on both, salami may give you a few extra points. I'm only playing with it, won one small bet.

It's interesting.

I've never played it but it sounds interesting...2 points per game seems high and I can't figure out why they would do that...unless they just forgot to update the salami with the line changes...yesterday a few totals moved down about 4-5 points from open to close.

Any other books besides CRIS offering it? I assume they have their usual -115 prop juice?

Darryl : It's -110. They skew it high for a reason. Cris only one I know of Oly may have it.

With 13 games today, you can't just add the totals, one game likely goes OT, adding about 20 points. Adding totals together doesn't account for this. Add the totals up, I'll take over big ! 2 -points a game seems reasonable to account for OT.

Doug,

That doesn't sound like the right explanation because I would assume OT is already factored into the individual game totals, otherwise you'd make a fortune always betting over on each game. Have you been following the salami for a while and is it always about 2 points per game higher?

It seems that the bet is really a guess like any other salami bet

A nice bet though because you betting the board for one bet

I've been casually looking at it when I remember. No line up yet today. I don't know how you account for a possible extra 15-20 points on one game, bump the line up 2.5 points ? , then unders have value. With 13 games the adjustment makes sense. I would guess overs and unders hit about 50% each. I hate losing an under by OT. A rough guess is 10% of games go OT.

Baseball salami was going over nearly every game for first month of season, it often went way over. I'll be looking for that next season. Olympic had it, Pinny didn't offer it until later in season.

No reason you can't do NFL salami, total the totals add about 6 points, there's the approx number ! Salami works for NHL, MLB,NBA, why not NFL ? Sat CBB salami would be funny ! under/over 15,373 ( or, whatever).
