You might put out a page for Dell Dude. I think I have seen him mention William Hill.

I thought they didn't allow Americans?

Has that changed?

I registered with my clearly United States address and it went through despite being blocked several times before. They had the "Unites States" in their drop down for location so it's hard to imagine them making a mistake.

Here's where it gets weird, though. The casino this time is more European based with chips being in British pounds, higher limits, more people playing and without the ecash financial system that they have for my original one.

I asked a customer service person in live chat if they changed their policy and now take bets from Americans and she said no, but I can still play at both casino accounts I have.

But the second casino is tied in with the sportsbook. If you play at one, you have access and can play at the other. Same account controls both. There's really nothing stopping me from betting in their sportsbook and I intend to one of these times just to see what will happen. I'd probably do a $100 four teamer or something when I had some clean money to burn. Just want to see what happens when I try to cashout.

Just to explain. It appears they have a special casino just for Americans that is a complete separate entity from their European based casino and sportsbook.

Already have played and am up overall a couple dimes at the America Will Hill casino. Now I have access to their other casino and their sportsbook. Hopefefully this holds. At $5000 British pound BJ limits, that comes out to almost $7000 US dollars.

That combined with me being able to bet suicide parlays with my BJ money would make Will Hill the favorite to give up my Level Three payout...

william hill's rule about gambling countries

Access to or betting on the website may not be legal for some or all residents of or persons present in certain countries. WHC does not intend that the website should be used for betting or any other purposes by persons present in countries in which such activities are illegal. The website does not constitute an offer, solicitation or invitation by WHC for the use of or subscription to betting or other services in any jurisdiction in which such activities are prohibited by law.

In other words they want you to bet with them and pretend they didn't know!

William Hill in my experience (few years back) was a solid book and has hundreds of licensed shops in the Uk - rumours are they are closing a lot of winning accounts now

I play at William Hill. Fast payouts, good limits (varies but averages at about 5 dimes I think), very safe. I think if you win too much on a particular sport they will chop your limits for that sport only.

This guy is not me but I had the same lies and my withdrawl also took 3 to 4 weeks.

They have also been banning winners lately (see SBR) and when they ban you they do even bother to tell you they just set your bet limits at 0.00

But on the positive they are huge if not the biggest volume sportsbook. Easy winnings to be had in tennis and golf. Some slow line moves can be found for US sports.

William Hill have been in the bookmaking business since 1934. They are one of the so called big 3 in the UK (Ladbrokes and Coral being the other two although I would put Ladbrokes ahead on its own).

They have good limits online but I have read stories recently that they are cracking down on scalpers. Reading between the lines I think they have been losing a bit on-line and are starting to do something about it.

They are a solid book though although I sometimes find their customer service to be "arrogant".

I believe this is being addressed by many books. Problem will be that some people may get tied in falsely.

What are the sure signs of a scalper?

Good question General. William Hill obviously think they have identified a few because they are developing software to monitor their clients betting patterns.

I think the main people they are having a problem with though are the soccer guys. I would guess scalpers in that sport can be identified by sometimes placing stakes on two outcomes of the match at the same book (remember basic soccer betting is three-way) and also betting odd stake amounts.

Strut, we need to go check it out but $1-2 isn't going to keep me interested very long. It is a step in the right direction though, used to be .25 and .50 cent poker with no pot being able to go over $10. Not exactly the place to go make a living out of. I haven't been there in 5 years at least so it would be nice to see what they have done out there. Let's check it out next week.

Thanks for the info on William Hill guys.
