WinkyDuck,

Pls tell him we miss him and would like to hear from him regarding the Stanley Cup. I think it is going to be a very good series and sure would like to hear Bobby's opinion.

Thanks,

The Poet

Thanks Winkyduck. I like the Ducks as well. More rested, and now the Brodeur issue has to be a distraction.

GottaWinToday,

The issue Bobby had with the Hockey forum and Hockey Zone was that (in his opinion, before I start a war for myself) they weren't given enough consideration/promotion by the site.

Moreso than this forum, he had issues with the management and the articles which appear on the home page of this site, and he chose to not want to be associated with a site which allows articles the like of which have been being published.

Good Luck,
Bart

Bart- Well said. That sums it up very well. I think his main beef is the kiss ass articles that appear on the home page and he is totally right on the money. Bobby has strong ethical beliefs and that's why he took the stance he did. The hockey forum and the RX overall are not as good without him. Let's hope he is back next season.

By the way, Frau Hockeymeister cooked up a nice dinner last night and I watched Game 1 with Herr Hockeymeister and some good pasta. Nice combination. And yes, Bobby favors the Ducks in the series.
