Anybody here ever have a stye in one or both of their eyes ?

first time ever i have one below my right eye. on the top of the lower eye lid. one of the most painful things ever for me ( lived a pain free life basically ) ..

any advice ?

stopped to see my eye doctor friend . she said all i can do is massage it out with a warm cloth.

looks like i went 3 minutes with tyson...

#1, you could try what my girlfriends doctor told her about helping eliminate them.


Run some warm water and use some baby shampoo to gently wash your eyelids, making sure you rid of all the mascara...........@)


Seriously though, I suppose that's a whole different issue.

I only remember getting those things may twice ever, but they weren't that bad for me.....

washing your eyelids , inside and out with baby shampoo is exactly what needs to be done.. to prevent them..

to help it now , i'm afraid time is my only friend.

as soon as this heals up , i will using the above method quite often..

That's exactly what my eye doctor told me to do. She said the warmth helps the fluids in the stye to expand and eventually seep out.

i can tell you this , they friggin hurt...

They make a product named "Stye" which can be found in any drugstore, but it is a fairly expensive item. Probably better off using the warm water. They do hurt like a mother.
