Wish I had the willpower to give it a shot and stick with it for a month to see what happens.

Thats what I am going to do although summer and football season would be the worst to try it out. But I will.

you don't have to endorse PETA to be a vegan. last i say about the subject as you all have your views and I won't be changing them. Shub's an ignorant cvnt, you're an ignorant cvnt, etc

I’m an ignorant **** lol. Good one. I’m out here planting seeds, literally and figuratively. Sorry for trying to raise the vibration of humanity. I’m a work in progress. I admit, I need to fine tune my approach. Can’t stop, won’t stop. It’s my mission, part of my dharma.

Two vegan activists have went a step further than just speaking out against eating meat. They are now separating the hens from the roosters because they “don’t want the hens to be raped”.
The video was released by the Spanish vegan group ‘Almas Veganas’ (‘Vegan Souls’), based in Girona in the north-eastern Spanish region of Catalonia, on Twitter where it has been viewed 570,000 times.
On their Twitter page, the activists describe themselves as ‘anti-speciesist‘ and ‘transfeminist.’
Anti-speciesists believe that judging types of animals as different to each other, or humans, is wrong.
They also believe that humans favour and treat some species better, like dogs, which we shouldn’t do.
Watch the video:

The vegans then reveal that “we separated the cocks because we don’t want the hens to get raped”.
In another video, the activists said that they based their decision on “the notion of consent”.

</figure>The vegans add: “The hens do not want to be mounted and always try to escape. They are sometimes seriously injured by the cocks’ claws as well.”
They also claim that the hens “are genetically modified to make them lay more eggs” and they want to “prevent them from reproducing”.
The activists added: “Either you are vegan or you help to finance animal slavery. Eating animals is fascist.”

</figure>According to reports, the vegan group has recently appeared on several Spanish television shows including the popular talk show ‘Todo Es Una Mentira’ (‘Everything Is A Lie’) where they believed they were “ridiculed” by the presenter.
The footage prompted comments from netizens such as “is this a joke?”, “there is no room for more morons” and “you have to be frigging crazy”.
They said afterwards: “We knew they would make fun of us, but we wanted to use the platform to spread our message anyway.”

I saw the Netflix show Game Changers, and decided to give it a go. Strictly for health reasons, not to save the earth or lower my carbon footprint. If you told me that I would be going vegan 6 months ago, I would have laughed in your face.

So, a month into it, I feel amazing. Energy level is significantly higher. My knee and elbow that were hurting significantly from my 3-5 days a week of pick up basketball are no longer hurting. Lost 7-9 pounds, and blood pressure trimmed about 8 points from both top and bottom number.

I don't crave meat at all. The hardest part has been the cheese. Almond milk and cashew milk are great alternatives for regular milk, and you can find reasonable alternatives. Beyond Meat burgers are good - the meatballs are great. Also, the Burger King Impossible Whopper - if you wouldn't have told me it was that, I would have thought it was a regular Whopper. No joke. Tastes exactly the same.

I am not saying everyone should try to go full vegan right out of the box. Maybe start vegetarian. But definitely don't knock it until you try it. Also, there have been a one or two days where I said that I was going to have a piece of pizza. I am not letting it control my life, but in changing your habits even to eating half of what you were, the results are there for the taking.

Not vegan. But I grow fruits and veggies.

Went out today and cleared away some of the hay mulch I put over the garlic I planted in November. Those little suckers are popping their heads up. A few inches in some cases. Psyched.

I love veggies. But I love me a good piece of meat too. Going out in a few minutes, on the second day of daylight savings time, to grill me a nice hamsteak. Psyched again.
