If so, how has your experience been?

Here's my situation: I want to switch internet providers and go to AT&T fiber. I'm a current DirecTV subscriber (since '04), and AT&T is telling me if I bundle internet/DTV through them, I could get a pretty good deal. I'd have to cancel with DTV and go through the hassle of getting the equipment switched out and all that. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it.

should be worth it if you don't have a new contract with Direct with cancellation fees

heck they need to switch out the internet connection if you don't have fiber now

DON'T DO AT&T!! They make you sign a contract with bundle deal and it's not worth it. Everybody hates AT&T because they control their modem. You can't even buy one of your own. You can however buy a router and bridge it because AT&T modem/routers SUCK!! Now AT&T fiber I heard was better but too small of a sample to say it's good. Stick with a cable internet provider such as Spectrum/Time Warner/ Comcast etc... Trust me pay a little more without having to deal with AT&T

I've had Directv for years and never had a problem. I had Comcast internet. I moved in April and "switched" to Directv bundled with ATT internet. ATT handled the movers deal/bundle they gave me.

Directv is of course still great. And my internet is fine.

But the customer service has been a disaster. Even though they sold me on the bundle as if the two companies were one and the same the two companies seemingly have zero communication with one another. Directv continued to bill me for at least 4 months at my old address even though I moved and established service at new address and even though I called them every month to inform them of the mistake. It's been almost 5 months and I'm still owed some money for the double billing.

ATT says it's not their problem. Directv blamed ATT.

Im probably in the minority here but my customer service actually has been worse than the notorious Comcast.
