The hosts, the shows, the opinions, the bias COVERAGE, making nonstories, stories...etc ..add to the list

It is time someone started a new sports channel with just some NORMAL sports coverage.

There are many other channels now, so many in fact, I can't keep them all straight.

Unfortunately, for people like you and me who hate ESPN, their monopoly forces to watch them for live sports.

I do not watch any programming on ESPN, including SportsCenter.

Their anchors think they celebrities and comedians. See Dan Patrick and Chris Berman.

Personally, I would like to see Trey Wingo and and Stuart Scott attached to a couple of concrete blocks at the bottom on an ocean somewhere.

They think the story is about them. STFU and show the damn highlights.

Agree....althought I do enjoy PTI and Around the Horn...the Favre coverage, the Red Sox, not reporting the Rothlesburge rape case righ away cause he was gonna be on ABC's Shaq versus show, the Erin Andrews fiasco, Stuart Scott..etc

As much as I hate so many of the programming choices ESPN makes, they are just giving in to market demands. If a competitor were able to break the stranglehold, they would quickly end up doing the same exact shit just to survive and thrive

They have good shows and bad shows, like any channel. OTL and PTI are great shows, Around the Horn is good for a laugh every once in a while.

Sports Center is fairly well presented, in my opinion. Live game coverage is good.

I just can't stand some of the personalities. Especially the guys who do the West Coast version of Sportscenter. I can't think of their names. And I don't like Josh Morgan in the morning. He just comes off as a prick.

Uh guys, I hate to sound like your parents, but there was a time when there was no ESPN. As a matter of fact, I remember laughing very hard with everyone else around here when the idea of a 24 hour sports show was first discussed. As finger down your throat bad as many of ESPN's shows are, you just have to toughen up and get through it sometimes to get what you need.

Yep. Same way I feel when folks complain about ATM fees. Back in the day you had a long weekend ahead if you didn't hit the bank before it closed on Saturday.

ESPN has far too much influence and their reporting is selective. Fortunately, we now have the internet to shed light on stories that ESPN tries to ignore or is late to acknowledge. The most recent example is the Roethlisberger allegations.

One good thing about ESPN is when they love a team, play the other side!

They want ratings. Everyone says they hate the favre and vick stories, but they get the best ratings.

It's not about be liked, its about people caring what you have to say.

Perfect example is skip bayless, he says shit to get people to hate him, because in his job its all about people watching/listening/reading you, not liking you.
