The way the Pats handle this injury will be key.. much more important to keep him out until fully healed than rush him back and get a tear in the knee (which I don't think it is right now).. obviously the team knows this though.

Word is it's a rare injury - severe nerve damage - likley above the knee amputation. Still listed as probable by Belichick.

hopefully its not clear until the line is set. i'm jumping big time on the patriots next week. jets didn't look convincing against the phins, and Cassel still looked better then 90% of the qbs out there.

Cassel is awful.. it is just that you can surround any qb with Pro Bowl receivers and offensive linemen and have them play mediocre. That performance wouldn't cut it against the good squads though.

looks like the injury Carson Palmer had in the playoffs two years ago.

Expect it to be an ACL.

Lucky him, more time to fuck that hottie Gisele!!

looks similar to palmers injury in the way it happened but not in the way the knee buckled ..... Carson's went backwards meaning ACL .... was hit on the outside of the knee pushing it inwards (MCL)

Glad I bought my Colts futures ticket at 9-1 earlier today...

I hope Brady is injured. If Matt Cassell plays, that team goes 6-10 and the Jets and Bills are fighting out for the playoff spot.

Pats get to the playoffs with Cassell.. weak ass schedule. But if Brady is not back by playoffs, it will be a first round exit for the pats.

Cassell is terrible and the run game doesn't impress me. If he has to throw 25 times in a game... they lose.

Pats were at home against one of the worst teams in the league... and they still almost lost. No way they even go 8-8 if Brady can't play.

I mean almost lost after an unexpected injury that throws a wrinkle in everything.. with good gameplanners they will put together gameplans involving the run game, which did look very good today.. the Pats play the AFC East and NFC West I will take the Pats over the likes of San Fran and Zona any day of the week.. sure it is Matt Cassell but they have Pro Bowlers everywhere else on the field, which JT OSullivan cannot say the same.
