I have been here for 10 years or so and I have never seen anything like this with a poster. BR is a great poster, but holy shit I can not believe the ass kissing and complete nonsense I have read in his threads. It's like we have a bunch of small children in here posting. Some asking decent questions, most asking ridiculous ones, clutter in there from people bitching about people asking the questions, more clutter from people bitching about people bitching about the clutter in there. Unreal. Shut the F up to everyone, holy s h it.
I have no problems at all navigating his threads and finding his "needs". I think there's a tad bit of drama going on with this stuff

The Bookie Report Controversy
Bookie Report is a bona fide rock star! A direct result of success and now the hot topic is the large variety of sensible vs senseless blabber in his threads.
So many opinions and so many suggested solutions. Here's how I view what is shaping into a mess. I'm just trying to be objective however I know this opens me up for criticism. I'm no stranger to that treatment so I'll see what develops.
As to the problem the Tracker would be a solution if censorship is the ultimate goal. I'm not saying censoring is a bad thing but I think that would confuse people who aren't familiar with that forum. I know it's not that hard but there will always be a percentage that don't get it. I know I can't speak for BR but I think he prefers some interaction. If he didn't he'd never answer a poster. Being in an open forum allows communication. Some questions are understandable and some comments are valid and/or interesting. I know it's galling to see questions that have been asked and answered but there will always be new people and they just aren't aware they're adding to the repetition. I know posters think even if they are new the answers are obvious but when you take a cross section of this many people your gonna get some dim bulbs. Thing is we were all new at one point and a little patience would avoid the mushroom effect we get when insults elicit insulting replies that spiral into irrelevant back and forth. It seems more times than not the people doing this policing are themselves fairly new and more than willing to be insulting.
Another problem is posters need to be reminded that personal results and selections are useless. We know people are proud of their own individual success but they don't realize it's irrelevant to everyone else. Again it's tiresome to have to keep repeating that so it's understandable that posters lose patience. Unfortunately as already stated the new guys don't know anything about what was said last week.
Next are the happy winners who want to hug but endless thank you's after every game become redundant. Everyone appreciates the information otherwise we wouldn't be there but once someone expresses thanks the point is made. If everyone took the time to send a personal thank you .... well lets see he gets over 40,000 views does that put it in perspective?
The biggest waste of time and abuse of space is the ongoing mindless back and forth conversations ranging from topics that aren't even related to sports to targeting individuals they decide are ripe to embarrass.
Lately I've seen poster's in this category calling out insults and inviting persons who aren't even actively posting to engage in a war that started in a different forum. If that isn't a red flag for banning I don't know what is. It's a clear attempt to provoke a reply that will become a worthless exchange.
Bookie Report is himself a monster, look at the views wow can you say popular? Most of us know how good the information is. Is he perfect? No but is he better than most .... obviously yes. Anyone that thinks his needs are a bad thing just doesn't get it. These comments are widely known so I don't need to do a commercial for BR. For that reason there's no need for multiple posters jumping all over things they feel are negative. I got drawn into some drama when I tried to provide some information that was misinterpreted as being negative.
The best thing we can do is let BR do what he does best. If that includes calling someone stupid he can do it. Mods can deal with instigators and agitators so if us fans exhibit the kind of patience BR does we can cut the crap in half.

Hopefully this stuff doesn't keep getting worse but we have to understand with this many people involved (30 to 40 K) trying to stop it is like swimming upstream.
