3 plus years with an Airborne Division - the entire year of 1968 spent as a Cobra Gunship crewmember in Vietnam. Another 24 months in the Fulda Gap on the then East German border with West Germany. Most of the time spent watching Russian tanks maneuver across the border. We watch them they watch us. During the Cold War the East German border with West Germany was a hot spot to be. I was still in my teens when I arrived in Vietnam in January of 1968, talk about green, but you grow up fast in an enviornment like Viet Nam was in the late 60s. Honorably discharged as a sergeant in January of 1972.
wil..
That's a division of the Boy Scouts right?

shoot yourself in the head.... this time with a round of ammunition, and not your gay lovers load.
