Aruba a must do, south of the Hurricane line, 85 degrees cooled by a sea breeze all year, great beaches, great restaurants, fully stocked albeit smaller casinos, great people, no poverty, no crime (despite one notable exception), no beggers, the best seafood, amazing fishing

simply has it all

also liked St Maarteen

not a fan of Jamaica, too much crime and poverty and beggers

All depends on what your into..cabo was the best place I've been so far..felt like you were out of the country, was stunning, no issues with safety, etc etc. Some of these places are so Americanized you might as well just go to Florida.

Awesome selection! The Locals are extremely friendly and also has arguably the prettiest beach in the Carribbean!

Eleuthera, Bahamas.

Its not for everyone. No casinos. No huge hotels. But still very nice accommodations (though most do VRBO).

Amazing beaches. Unlike most places, you will have the entire beach to yourself. You can walk miles without seeing another tourist.

Rent a jeep for the week, pack a cooler and hit up different beaches each day. Can't wait to go back.

Roatan is great and it is very affordable.

Grand Cayman is very nice, not as affordable (but not expensive either).

Wife and I are planning a trip now, probably St. Maarten or USVI.

Grand Cayman's - loved it the best beaches and crystal clear water. Tad pricey as mentioned above
Dominica Republic - went there last year, thought it was great. Strong waves and we stayed at a great resort. Water is more of a green than aqua blue if that matters
Bahamas - pretty fun, Atlantis is a huge mega resort there. The city was pretty run down but overall good time

Been to a few others that were mentioned above, can't really go to wrong. Have fun!

My wife and I really liked St Maarten. Plenty of good restaurants. We will go back. If you go there, be sure to take the 25 minute ferry ride to Anguilla. Amazing beaches there.

So when did you give them the money. Ive done a bunch of all inclusive types and been to a couple dream resorts. Usually they're checking you in and assigning the room, do you stop them and say oh here's a tip. Seems like something you'd do after but by then they'd usually have given you the room and wouldn't restart the process to upgrade you.
