Bama destroyed a good week, any thoughts on what would seem to me a superior running game and a more talented and stronger uconn squad.

So far the Big East has proved to be less than impressive. I don't know who I like here. If this line keeps going up I may consider Buffalo. They have the much better QB who might be able to keep them hanging around within the number..

Yes - "Why are they playing this game?"

Exactly. Just another meaningless CFB postseason game.

Buffalo sucks BTW and I'm sick of all the Turner Gill race-related stories.

Gill doesn't get the good jobs because Buffalo is still a fucking joke of a program, just like every other team in the pathetic MAC conference.

Just speaking from a fan's standpoint is all.

I couldn't think of a more horrendous game than this one, both teams are sickening to watch.

And to boot it's being played in Toronto of all places, the epicenter of American College Football.

What a fucking disaster this meaningless game is.

I don't see how anyone could possibly feel comfortable playing UCONN -6 with such pitiful QB play. UCONN is not a good team to lay wood with. Much better to play them as a dog. They are not a dominant team and a myriad of teams can beat them on any given day due to the shitty QB play.

A great running game & good defense helps alleviate bad QB play. Looking at post #11 shows good run game & run D for UConn vs a Buffalo team that put up some ok offensive numbers & played middle of the pack run D...in the MAC.
UConn had a better Strength of Schedule ranking also which makes the numbers look even better. Should be a grind it out game with UConn pulling away late...although 6 is pretty big number but I also locked in -4 earlier

Some of us are from Buffalo and root for these fucking teams

This is the 1st Bowl for Buffalo in 50 years and apart from the Alabama game its the game I've been waiting for

It was a great success to win the MAC this year

Guys, im from CT, and ive been to all of the Uconn games at home this year.....Donald Brown is a beast, the guy is the entire team. Uconn has NO passing game at all, Tyler Lorenzan is awful, if you watch him throw, youll think its a joke. The guy throws the ball downwards, and if the throws, its a screen, or a short in route. If Buffalo can stop Brown, they will easily win this game. I myself am staying away because Lorenzan can make or break the game, and if it comes down to passing, he will throw numerous INT's....just my insight, and if youve seen Uconn play, youll understand

I think the play is Buffalo +7 and over 51. Buffalo's balance attack against one dimensional UCONN team. Also, Buffalo has been money all year as an underdog. Unlike most, I think it'll be an entertaining and high scoring game.
