PS. Today was an interesting reversal day for gold, with the Fed minutes again showing they will never raise rates and we will see more QE , not less

Without fiscal action, the Fed will be supporting us with cheap credit for years. Been predicting this for the past 4 years. Vertical vs horizontal money. Either we get it from the banks or the govt. Thank God, Fed action isn't controlled by Congress. We'd put the Great Depression to shame!

if you want to invest in oil, invest in brent crude NOT wti crude. the us is
producing more and more oil and with our laws stating that presently we
can only export only certain refined products this will only increase our domestic
glut. i've had some bullish oil positions over the years, but closed out
everything last friday. first the saudis announced that they were reducing
production and the US jobs report was much better than expected. oil went
down. a very very bad sign.

back to my first statement. the price differential between brent and wti is quite
small as compared to recent history. no matter what oil does, expect that
difference to increase meaning that brent will outperform wti.

personally, i wouldn't invest in oil right now as european demand looks week and
overall supply is strong (until something major blows up in the middle east).

Gold and silver at 4 and a half year lows. Silver at $15 is very tempting! Can buy a lot of bars and coins at that price!

if Goldman continues to sell short over a billion dollars in gold futures at the market, in the middle of the morning when there is ZERO liquidity, yes, it will go lower.
