Sorry General, but this is a SERIOUS question that I feel warrents concern.............especially for anybody that is signing up with ROYAL.

To me it is saying they are DESPERATE for customers.......and having said that, I want no part of being with ROYAL at this time.

HTRC and journeyman, can either or both of you elaborate on how in your perception bonuses have ruined the industry?

Make sure your answers dont contradict the fact that alot of books still offer bonuses and are doing fine.

And make sure you dont use aces gold in your example because wasnt their demise due to hanging a bad number for the superbowl? And dont use PanAm either because the bonus was never allowed to be withdrawn from the account, which seems like the best solution for this particular topic.

G Shark- put it this way, they have hurt the industry more than helped IMO..I don't even look for a bonus anymore...its a ring around the rosey BS way to get people to play with you...Books should stick to a one time 10% and thats it....

Just how many people out there do nothing all day but make up fake names, move around the same money for the bonuses???

You look at the top books you don't see alot of bonus hyping, and thats for a reason.

Right in the middle of reading this thread [yes I still read them just don't post much anymore], I received a cold call from Royal pitching their bonus offer about 20 minutes ago.

Nothing but really good experiences with Royal for me. But hey guys you got my e-mail addy. You don't need to Jack Price me now that he has stopped.

Very good point... the fact of the matter is, a great amount of weak books offer up huge bonuses to attract players, scalpers, middlers or bonus whores eat them up and then when the book goes south everyone bitches. Would you post up with Pinnacle or Apex if neither offered a bonus?

Bonuses definatley cause alot of headaches. Books are at fault for offereing big bonuses for they are inviting players they do not want and players are at fault for just abusing bonuses and not trying to give the book any loyalty. I doubt we will ever fix this problem. Loyalty bonuses would be nice across the board.

Say the players that signed up with PANAM ONLY for the bonus lets say.

What percentage of players do you think signed up ONLY because of the bonus.......be it first time offshore players, bonuse hunters, scalpers, bonus whores??????

Would like to hear estimates on this percentage.

Thanks in advance.

Royal is a joke just like IA sports is a joke.
You will get paid from royal after you beg them and jump thru hoops to get paid. They slow paid me last year. Avoid them unless you are a loser and dont need to ask for payout.

i truely believe, royal will always pay. i think they have the funds, but are going through some major changes, like any business does.

you dont increase in size without growing pains. i was just paid close to 20K. they paid most out by neteller, which they say they will only do up to the amount depsoited, but richard worked with me on it, and wired the rest. the wire took a little over 8 business days, but i got it.

richard even threw a couple benji's in my account for the delay.

overall.....yeah, royal is a little shaky for now, but i think the best is yet to come.

one things for sure, you hear of slow pays, but NEVER A NO PAY

and richard, if you read this.....congrats again on the new additon to the family. look forward to posting up come foots season
