Any scotch drinkers...need help

My wife likes Glenlivet. Looking for something a little nicer with smooth finish for Val Day
. No more than $200 per bottle. Any recommendations? Thx

I love single malt, but not the smoky/peaty stuff. I think Glenfiddich (18) or Glelivet (18) is pretty damn good. Another brand I like is Balvene (14) or (15). Pretty sure all of these would be under $200. Single malt has really skyrocketed in price over the past few years.

Glenlivet is considered a "sweet scotch", so I suggest you stay in that family as opposed to smoked or other styles

Anyone else's eyes water like crazy after drinking Scotch? I like the stuff, but I must be allergic to it. I'm fine with anything else.

Make sure you get the 18 not the 12 or 15. You can get it for about $100. She will love it trust me its amazing.:toast:

I don’t drink scotch but found Balvenie to be a pleasant surprise to my palet.

The Glenlivet 21 year old is my all time favorite. If you can find it its in the ballpark of $200-$225 usually. I buy it when we go on cruises in other countries for much cheaper. Fuck it's good.
