If you saw the news Conf, it seems these two has passed the buck on the equip manager. Very interesting comments by Brady as I thought he's throwing the equip mgr under the bus. All NFL QB, have already said having a deflated ball makes a difference. Brady also said, he didn't know any difference from throwing the ball in 1st half and 2nd half. IMO, it wud have been ok for Brady to admit so there are no distractions for the SB. His news Conf has added fuel to the fire so to speak and the issue will be asked again on media day. Since the NFL found them guilty of the Spygate and so far NFL is certain that 11 out of 12 balls we're under inflated per the spec, it makes you wonder if they have cheated every game, but didn't get caught. Obviously, the Pats once again got caught!

And their punishment will be winning the Superbowl

Belicheck knows exactly what he's doing...deny, deny, deny.

This is truly remarkable. Bear with me here, but the statistics show strong positive correlation of PSI and fumbles. The opposite means the lower football PSI (underinflated balls) lead to fewer fumbles. Belicheck knows exactly what he's doing. Really amazing...
Intuitively, a hard, bouncy ball is gonna pop out easier than a soft and squishy football...right?

Lmao.......Brady is a really good qb, but don't tell us/anyone that you didn't feel a difference in the deflated footballs......that in itself tells everyone he lied.

I could tell the difference between an inflated football & partially deflated when I was in middle school.

Kraft the owner has a lot of pool in the NFL.......kind of like politicians doing wrongbut getting free passes from the president. No difference here.......

Did the deflated footballs make a difference in the final score? Absolutely not, the Patriots would have beaten the Colts throwing bricks around.

It seems a good team like the Pats try everything to win, even cheating to get the edge, smh!

What will come out if this case? Its too many times this team has gotten caught, something has to give.......

Will the Pats refocus & win the super bowl? They could, but I'm betting against it.......I can see the headlines now if they win......the cheating Patriots win another super bowl..........

100% correct, a deflated ball won't bounce around much on the ground & more important, the ball carrier won't fumble the ball, even when someone tries to knock it out........I can see the independent studies coming on this as well in the next coming months.

ALL good points! Never really believed in 2008 that a Pats employee secretly recorded the Rams walk through the day before SB. Now I'm convinced that they cheated my Rams. Smh

NFL is not saying anything else at this point or will make a decision anytime until after SB. Why? Coz they don't want this to be a bigger distraction. The Commish better hit them hard, maybe somewhat to the punishment the commish gave to Newlins.

I meant to add the Boston Herald reported in 2008 that Pats cheated my Rams in SB XXXVI.

The Patriots better get hit harder than the Saints.......Saints were a one time thing, the Patriots have been doing God knows what for over a decade. Not to say other teams aren't doing anything, they're just not getting caught.

After watching Belicheat's monologue of a press conference with him going on about things that didn't answer any of the questions the media and the public have for him I am convinced that he is as dirty as the needles that his staff used to deflate the balls... As for Brady he stopped himself mid sentence multiple times when trying answer questions without incriminating himself. He let one slip out "They (the equipment staff) also know how I like the balls.. and that's exactly the way they are" with a smug grin. He also threw out the "conspiracy theorist" line to try and discredit the investigation, very "patriotic" of him

agreed! The "cracking" in his voice is also suspect.

Did anyone else notice the humorous irony of the home field sponsor backdrop during today's press conferences?

Gillette "FLEXBALL"!

I thought that was beautiful.

my sources at the stadium tell me that undeniable accountability has been implemented and there will be zero chance that anyone will be found to be guilty of any "rule" dont expect anything as serious as coach being fired either. aint going to happen captain. bill aint going nowhere and roger the dodger goodell is going to fall flat on his face. now if he didn't fuck up ray rice then this could end differently but very little discipline will come out of this if any

I'm not a Pats fan; however, I don't think anyone has proven for a fact that the Pats deliberately deflated or under inflated the balls. As I stated in other posts that the balls were turned over to the referee, marked as acceptable and guarded by officials. So, either the measurement tool was incorrect, the person inflating them didn't do it correctly, the measurement was misread and I can go on and on. For a fact is that it is the referees responsibility to maintain control over the balls once they are under his control which is approximately 2 hrs and 15 min prior to the start of the game.

You're absolutely correct for now. As they say, you're inocent until proven guilty. We will soon find out the hard facts when the NFL completes their investigation.

Well said. No one had brought that up yet. Thats HUGE. Fewer Fumbles. Even me, thinking before now this wasn't that big of deal cuz its Standard Operating Procedure for those QBs who want (or have wanted...past QBs) a softer ball knows immediately after this card is flopped that...

...this is Huge. I don't need to point out to those here that eliminating even ONE fumble within a season could make a difference (let alone multiple fumbles).

Nice Post. Someone is gonna make enough money to retire several times over inventing a Psi Detector Chip to go inside footballs. Any Inventors in the House?
