I for one am not getting to caught up this Florida team speed hype.

The Sooners scored 60 points on so many occasions and Florida looked like they would lose to Bama heading into 4th, last time i saw them play.

The best defense Oklahoma faced was ranked 50th (Texas).

Florida played 8 defenses ranked in top 30.

Does this matter?

Alabama was ranked #1 in the nation and undefeated.

UF faced two offenses in the top 50, does that matter? They lost to one of them.

OU is 18th in rushing offense, UF faced two teams in the top 30, they lost to one and were trailing the other in Q4.

And, you're wrong, they faced and beat (scoring a total of 87 points) on the 1st and 31st ranked total defenses in the country (TCU and Cincy).

I'll give you that OK hasn't seen much defense but what offense has UF seen? Suppose that OK puts up mid-30s for points...you're telling me that Tebow & co are going to put up low to mid-40s to cover?

Your point about Bama is irrelevant. If Bama was a true #1, why were they 9.5 dogs on a neutral field?

This isn't accurate. They played TCU, which I believe finished 2nd in total defense.

Cincy was also better than 50th.

Contrary to perception, OU's defense isn't as bad as made out to be, while they gave up a total of 24.5 ppg, 4 TDs were scored on KORs (which could well be a problem this game) and 9 TDs were scored late Q4/garbage situations against second team defenses, all but one of which was when OU lead by at least 30 (the other was KU with :58 remaining when OU lead by I believe 24). Thus, their defensive scoring was more along the lines of a 17 ppg defense, which would have been top 20 in scoring defense.
