Aloha , as you know Hawaii is coming to town to play your Wolfpack on Sat. I wanted to know if it will snow up there and what temp. may be by game time. This is a big game for Hawaii, in order to have a showdown with Boise St. here in the islands. If you have any info. can you share.

Nevada has lost/no cover 3 consecutive games all in the role of a favorite. The three losses show a progression. Each one was worse than the last.

Hawaii ain't nothin' to write home about, but NEVADA?.....not for me.

I kinda felt that when Nevada faced Rice, they might not cover the game because they have two big games coming up for them. Fresno and Hawaii. I had no idea that they would lose outright. I guess that loss either deflated them against Fresno or again they got caught looking ahead to Hawaii. Well, now their out of contention, so have to feel that they might play spoiler or might not even show up for the game. Don't know yet on those.

So for now, I am trying to get other information on other factors which may be the cause of Hawaii losing this game , like if it will be snowing up their in Nevada.

Greendoberman, you got info on the snow situation up their in Nevada and the temp at gametime.

Well, I can't claim the same as Hawaii made me quite a bit of money this year. Only their last two games, I got hurt by their play. Other than that, I still believe that they will bounce back strongly seeing what is ahead of them. Last week, they supposed to have lost the game. They were lucky, because the refs were sanctioned or suspended, or whatever it is they do to refs that screw up a call, costing a team a victory or at least a chance for a victory.

Everyone, including Coach Jones knows that they were lucky for the screw up last week.

This week is a big game for them and they need to win it to face Boise St. for the title. Those two games both Hawaii and Boise will be facing drastic climate changes which is surely going to affect them both. Hawaii this week having to play in cold and possible snow. Then Boise coming to Hawaii in Dec, and having to deal with the tropical heat and humidity, after months in the snow.

I agree with you that Boise St. would probably rip Hawaii if played today, as they are Hot right now. But Dec., and the elements, might sway back the advantage to the Warriors. Still, that game wont mean anything, if Hawaii loses on Sat. If that happens, then Hawaii will focus on beating Army and secure the 6th win for the Bowl eligibility. Then Alabama will be their important game. As Boise game, even if won, probably wont get them the Wac Championship. And beating Alabama will be worth more to them and their program.

Watch this game Wo168, as its outcome could make it easier for you to decipher Hawaii's motivation ,etc. for the remaining games. This could possibly help you to win back the money you lost on the Warriors. Can't guarantee this, but I hope this little tidbit of info. might help you out somehow. GL and Aloha. CC

Captain if your looking for a climate game, how about Utah St -6 over a Troy State team that is on the road for the 4th straight week and is not use to red number tempatures of Logan,UT considering they come from the deep south of Alabama.

Aloha CC,

The weather report for Sat. in Reno is 30% chance of rain with a high of 46 and a low of 27 with win from the SW at 8 mph. How do you think Hawaii is going to handle the elevation factor since they play at sea level? I know that it is of concern for Riley Wallace when traveling.

Aloha and Good Luck

Whats Up WINNA,

Thanks for the weather update. I was also hoping to get some personal info about the weather in Nevada from actual residents, as you and I know how the news and the exact weather reporting can be. If I had a dime for every time the news caused me to miss a good day fishing, I wouldn't be doing this, lol.

Anyways, its an automatic by any coaches for Hawaii to be concerned about the weather or altitude, especially in places like Nevada or Denver. I am hoping, that for the players, they dont let that type of thing grow in their heads, cause it might start making them think negatively. I spoke with some of the players in the beginning of the week, and they all are excited. They know how big a game it is for them and the program.

I am still gathering info. , but as of now, minus all of the other intangibles, it looks really good for the Warriors.

Aloha, CC.
