I remember when I first started gambling I used Proline picks to make some money. It use to force you to parlee 3 games in order to win but you never had to put down juice for favorites , it just lowered your winnings ( for ppl that dont know). When you won however it was a good take?

wondering if anyone still uses Proline or have they all gotten more from online gambling sites?

I got a buddy who swears by it, he only bets pro line nothing online, he uses line movement to determine his picks. from what he tells me he does rather well I just have a hard time believing it trying to hit 3 teamers every night

I also like many Canadians first started betting on sports through proline. After getting older and learning more I realize also like many that it gives shit odds and forces one to play a minimum of 3 game parlays which is a joke. Nowadays the only real benefit of getting a proline ticket is first and foremost never to take more than 3 games on it. Second is to only take 3 games that will give you better odds than what the exact same 3 teamer would be on an online sportsbook. This is based on the discrepancies of OLG fucking up odds and making errors. When 3 games can be found that are all more value then what one can get online (or in real vegas odds) that is the only time I get a ticket. Heres a good website that compares prolines "fake odds" to vegas sportsbooks "real odds":

Absolutely hate it and I have a very good proline record...

The odds suck, it's hard enough to pick 1 or 2 good picks a night, let alone 3... most people I know who do well at Proline usually bet on NFL only..

I still use it along with my sportsbook. It's especially good for line movement. They can't change their odds and they seldom cancel a game so you can really cash in on late injuries or other circumstances. I play two heavy favorites and the 3rd game I try to catch one with a bad line compared to vegas. For example, the other day vegas had the over/under for nets vs grizzlies at 187, proline had it at 193 so I took the under. The total ended up being 189 that game so I won.

It is tough though. You really have to piece together a good set of games. I only play 3 games, no more than that ever. Earlier on in the NHL season when every game was going over, I made a killing betting 3 overs a night.
