1. what kind of beer at this hotel

2 how much are beers in us dollars

3.is there anything we should do see while there { markets towns }

its Alajuela

1) most popular beer is Imperial, second is Pilsen I guess, you can get locally brewed Heineken or a few American beers (miller etc)

2) I imagine normal prices for hotels, say 4 bucks-6 bucks?

3) on that side of town and near by, Poas Volcano , bunches of souvenirs at Sarchi (priced for tourists too aka expensive since its a tourist trap)

1hr or so driving/ getting a cab (try to avoid driving) you can reach Jaco (beach)

Arenal volcano not far from where you are going to be either but definitively hard to see in just 1 day

I can't recall the name of the place, but there is a sweet bar just north of the cop shop-it's right across from the beach also.

I usually grab a beer at "Bar La Bruja", you won't see drug dealers or hookers there. Owners are scary enough.
