If you didn't update it about 6 months ago, it has to be sent in. That's all on you, but there is a work around I think. Mine hasn't skipped a beat in over 2+ years. Granted, I don't like the new Interface as well as the old, but I'm getting used to it...Take a look around and numerous others are saying the same thing, thing is straight Fire (I know Prodigy guys hate that)...

Did you sign up for certain paid apps? Because it’s definitely not straight fire now. When I first got it, it definitely was. Half of the apps don’t work now, it’s a coin flip whether prime streams will work, and the sports content is nothing like it was.
I don't buy paid subscriptions. I honestly don't know what to tell you because I get more sports stuff than I ever have. My Savage has been running here at the house since 7am this morning and it hasn't skipped a beat, and it's been on Prime Streams LIVE TV NETWORKS the whole time.... Now my Little Girl isn't too happy about the 24/7 Puppy Dog Pals disappearing somehow, but it's all good, she likes Baby Bus and I turned her on to Fraggle Rock 24/7...
I'm also asking because I know several people who want the older Savage, simply because they're just as good as the new ones. Nothing has changed if you keep up...

Just like I can't say anything bad about a Prodigy, I just chose to stay loyal to the brand that did me right the first time, and still does. Same with Daigo, both my boxes I bought from him,customer service is top notch, he's just not apart of the standard anymore. All good, people come and go...
I stopped using it for a couple months but besides that it’s fully up to date. I’m not trying to sell it, would prefer getting it back to it working like it did a year and a half ago. Torrents change I get that part, but the box does wacky shit. An example: if I click on prime streams movies, sometimes there are movies there, sometimes it says files and a list of other things. Tony was a great help when they went through their major update, but now that he’s gone, it just hasn’t worked the same. What apps do you normally use on it?

WRONG......my older Savage and current Prodigy works golden. Updating is part of the Savage process. no need for the Prodigy. If issues arise, it maybe because you don't use it enough to figure out how to work out the streaming issues, user issues, channel updates, wifi/ethernet issues or straight out service provider issues. Took awhile to figure it out and if I cannot figure it out then Diago23 is there to help. If need be he can hold your hand if you want. Granted Prodigy is not near where is was supposed to be at this time, but Diago has bent over backwards to give those aps that are in place until he is able to get the company he is working with the proper software tools to make it work. Alien Stream, Area 51, Marvel Emby, UT Player, Silent Ghost,Primestreams, VOD.....and other aps have worked for me in one ap is not working. One thing that ONE must get familiar with is in the setting is the player selection.....of the 2 or 3 choices at times one may have to switch it depending on provider and service. WIFI has been tricky....better WIFI on prodigy.

I use Prime, lol. When it's working, it's the best by far...I will admit, it has gone out lately more than it used to, but I don't let it bother me because there are at least 3 others that always work...
Since you bought up paid subscriptions, maybe there in lies some of the problem if you're running a VPN with Real Debrid. There was some chatter about that a few months back how folks switched of one and went to another, and it was golden, but IDK, like stated, I don't pay for anything because I don't see a use for it. I don't even run a VPN and I've never had trouble in 2+ years.
Yep yep, he gave me Area 51 when I first got it as well for awhile, and would give a free trial code when/if the box is not functioning properly. Your reasoning is why I won't go with a Prodigy because I simply never see it being big like the standard, but I hope I'm wrong because Daigo is as legit as they come when it comes to customer service on these boxes and I hate not doing business with him, although I still answer questions for him he no longer knows about with the standard boxes. He's tapped into mine for a few hours when I first got it and was somewhat lost...

Long time since I last posted. Let me kinda explain what happened and where I am now. I was a partner with Standard Media during my time selling Beast, Savages and Hustles. Savage boxes was a partnership between Streamsmart and Standard Media. Streamsmart closed the door after 5 years in the business and the servers was to die within the three months after they closed. The auto updater was on those servers and only thing Standard can do is do a firmware update to get off the server before boxes died. They managed to make it happen. Moving forward my last boxes to sell was Hustle with them. I noticed add ons kept kicking people off and started doing my own investigation on why it was happening. As I dug deeper, I didn't like what I was seeing and everything started making sense to me. I started giving out Area 51 to my customers who bought boxes from me to keep my tech support down free of charge. David found out what I was doing and kicked me thinking I was selling the services but everything came out my pocket. I will explain what I saw and why I started my own up doing the legit way.

The whole point to have multiple premium add ons was to make sure you have a backup. This was not the case because they was taking one main provider and rebranding it into different add ons. Another thing I found was connections for premium service. The reason you experience kick outs after so many minutes is due to how many connections they purchased from provider. Next time you are in one of the premium add ons... go to account and see how many connections there is. You will see 1200-1500 connections. I don't know exactly how many boxes they have out there but I'm pretty sure there is more than 1500 easily. Another thing that never made sense was there seemed to be a major update day of PPV or something. I could never figure that out why have a fucking major update. It drove me nuts because tech support kept me busy all day over them wanting to update. All I can think of was to either get less people to connect or have something to blame it on. Everything they do over there is pirated. There is no hiding it and he has said it in multiple videos as bragging.
When I started Prodigy Entertainment, I dropped a lot of money in a software that locks the programming down from pirates. I don't run Kodi crap and feel Kodi is 2 years outdated. I don't think any box on the market should be running Kodi if you are selling. There is too much updating bullshit every day from devs jumping or changing url's. I did not cut corners to save money when I built the boxes and software. I'm not going to talk about the new Savage boxes but will tell you to look at the specs. Most likely you will not find it listed on site... ask yourself why is that? Always look at specs before buying any box. There should be no reason any new box should be less than S912 chipset and 3GB DD4 Ram. All my specs are listed on site and I am running 64bit software making it twice as fast than original Savages. You can ask a few members here who have both boxes and will tell you its day and night how fast box is. I'm not going to go into details on programming side but can say you have 4 major providers in the box and each box gets its own log in meaning the connection is yours and not shared with others. Like I said... I do things the right way and it keeps pirates away. As for the older boxes out there, I can offer you a few options if you don't want to buy a box. There is certain programs proprietary to only Prodigy boxes and I plan to keep it that way. Hope this explains some and for the ones who continue to buy from me... I appreciate the support.
