Any interest in a NBA head2head bracket-style capping contest

Would be 1 week matches.....(amount of games to be determined)

week 1 would be round robin (for seedings)

week 2 the H2H matches begin.....seeding/byes depend on entrants
8 entrants = 1-8 seed only
9 = 1 bye
10 = 2 bye
15 = 7 byes
16 = 1-16 seeds
31= 15 byes
etc. (doubt we get anywhere near 31)

Assuming we have 16-31 players, schedule would go as such
week 1 = round robin
week 2 = opening round
week 3 = round of 16
week 4 = round of 8
week 5 = round of 4 (final 4)
week 6 = semifinals
week 7 = finals


no idea on buying amount or when we start or how many games....just checking to see if there is interest

if we get 8-15 players we just reduce the length of the contest from 7 weeks to 6 weeks (dump the round of 16)...if we get 8 exactly, it goes down to 5 weeks cause we lose the opening round games too

I say depends on the # entries...
if we get 16, I wouldn't oppose Final 4 getting Money back and splitting the rest....

no ways defy....i'm just throwing the idea out there....right now I don't have to time to run this. If there is interest I will participate (whatever buyin) but I'd be pissing people off if I ran it (slow grading, etc.)....hopefully someone else (YOU) can run it (hold money, grade, etc.)

kind of like how HC ran with the NFL playoff auction

that sounds good...if we get paying customers...i don't care if they are a ghost or wannabe tout....i would enjoy giving the tout prospects a beatdown.

i'd more enjoy actual touts entering to prove themselves
