Any interest in a March Madness NCAA Tournament point spread bracket contest?

Did this two years ago, no skill involved. Just pay and pray.

Every entry is assigned one of the 64 slots (for play-in slots, you get both teams). Whoever's team wins the game vs the spread moves on?

I.e. if your "team" is the underdog, they cover the spread but lose the game, YOU now advance with the SU winner (ATS loser) in the next round.

Also, if we do this, any idea on buyin amount and payouts?

Just bringing up a slight mod of the rules to the forum to see
if there is support.

I would rather play a higher value buy in , like $100
limited to 16 people. $1600 total, payout the final 4 =800/400/200/200

Each person would get 1 team from each region to start with and we go from there.


Benefits
-Fewer people to collect pp from( a concern was mentioned for collecting 64 different $25 payments)
-For people who would normally buy multiple entries at $25,there
is no chance of playing yourself before sweet 16.
-If you had to play yourself in final 8 at least you are guaranteed a cashout
-You get multiple teams to root for...lots of action for your money.
-You can win multiple times on one entry.

I like the idea of fewer cashouts, but I like the idea it 64 different rx contestants (which won't happen. ..we will need multiple entries)

Fwiw I don't mind having 2 teams from same division. More chance to make final 4
