what part of Houston and where did you move from?

Spots to watch sports, honestly, past few years, I've stopped going to watch sports, married, and kids now. So I watch my sports at home.

But places to eat, check out.
Pluckers Wings
Red Lion - british pub, good food
Kenneally's - irish pub, great pizza, (cubs fan hangout on game days)

Non Sports but great food
Killens BBQ in pearland - best BBQ you will ever eat!, bread pudding too!
Burger Palace - fav burger joint, service can be slow, but great!
Mia's - best country fried steaks!

Bellaire and Beltway, Chinatown

I've been in Houston since 1966. I live in the Champions area. Like the wizard, I'm married and have kids, so I don't really get out to bars anymore. Plenty of great places to eat, it depends on what you like. Welcome!

if you thought that was "damn good", you havnt even tried real texas bbq yet.

BTW, all pappas restaurants are great, papadeaux, pappasitos(1/2 price fajitas wednesdays), pappas bbq, pappas burgers
