Only a handful of games left for each team now. Some great battles for the remaining playoff sports and for home ice in the first round. All 10 games have ramifications.
Devils/Flyers - Lets face it, both teams are gonna miss the playoffs. Fyers at home should take this one. 4-2 Philly
NYI/Leafs - Leafs with a chance to grab home ice in first round chasing the slumping Habs. Isles can almost certainly secure a playoff spot with a win. Should be a wide open game. Leafs 4-3
Florida/NYR - NY in the last playoff spot with a game in hand of the Jets. They won't lose this one right? Rangers 4-1
Bolts/Habs - Canadiens need to turn thins around before the playoffs. They can't seem to stop the puck as of late. Montreal 3-2
Caps/Sens - Red hot Capitals against the red hot Anderson in net and a possible 1st round match up. I will take the sens here. Ottawa 3-2
Blues/Coyotes - Lets face it, Coyotes are done but mathematically are still in it. A loss and they are done. Blues 2-1
Canes/Jets - Jets play 5 games between now and next Thursday including back-to-back games in Buffalo and Wash. A loss here would be hard to swallow. Jets are good at home. Winterpeg 5-3
Canucks/Stars - Vancouver's last game on a season high 5 games road trip and are trying to end up in the top for for home ice in round one. Believe it or not they have actually still catch the slumping Ducks for 2nd but a couple losses can find them in 6th. Since picking up Roy, getting back Kesler of injured reserved and Schneider looking like a future Vezina winner, the Canucks look like they are a serious Cup contender again. The Stars however are playing some of their best hockey of the season and are 4 points behind the Jackets with 2 games in hand. Huge game for both clubs. Roy's first game back in Dallas scores the winner. Vancouver 4-3
Wild/Sharks - San Jose 3-2
Columbus/LA - A blue Jackets win would be huge for their playoff chances. 8-2 in last 10 including 5 in a row. My heart goes with Columbus. Kings 3-2
