My dilemma is basically as follows:
I gamble higher than my bankroll allows when I really love a game. And when things don't go according to plan, I drink so heavily that I am either going to run somone over, get a DUI, or have some horrible legal problem because of these bouts with alcohol. The most recent episode was last Sunday night when I had a large wager on Baltimore plus 7. My team outplayed St. Louis so badly that when I lost I felt cursed. I went directly into the bottle, and didn't come out until the pain of the loss was anesthetized. My question is basically directed at anyone who has had my problem with gambling losses that turn into binge drinking, and found a way to stop this foolish behavior. I know that the first step is betting amounts that don't set me off, but i am sure there is more to the equation. Any comments would be appreciated.
