My local offered a line on tonights game. App St -2. I looked at Wofford and it looks like they have been solid. They lost to South Carolina 23-13.

Thoughts?

Been looking at it but can't find any info to really cap the game. Surprised I havent seen more discussion on this one. I initially thought App St but didnt realize Wofford was so good. Looks like the line is right but my initial thoughts were that Wofford might have the better defense. Would like to hear from others who may have been keeping up with Div II this year.

I personally don't know squat about either team, but a guy here at work that watches a lot of Wofford games seems to think that Wofford can pull out the upset.

wofford is a good team, i think they have a great shot at winning.

wofford or elon will beat app this year. both good teams

take a shot with wofford, app st has taken a few steps back thi year. they have some issues on def.

IMO, this line was set (App State -2 1/2) with the intention of attracting action on App State (i.e., they are the home team and the "name" program after beating big blue last year)....right now sportsinsights shows 80% of the action is backing the home team.

If you believe that Vegas isn't in the business of giftwrapping games for the masses, you have to think Wofford or no play here.

GL in any event.

vegas sets a lot of lines at 2 1/2 & 6 1/2 every week. if it were that easy just to play the opposite side we'd all be rich.

i think App State can be beat but i still like them at home. this is probably the biggest game wofford has played in a decade - there's no telling how they'll handle themselves. for App State they have to win this or they won't be a top 4 seed.

should be a damn good game.

100 point total is not out of the question.
Slight lean to Wofford on the m/l also.

I'm from Delaware so I get to watch a good amount of Div IAA games and App St. might be the defending 3 time champ, but they aren't the same team from those years. They still have Armanti Edwards at QB who can do anything, but Wofford matches him with their QB Ben Widmyer who averages 68 yards rushing per game, but also completes 69% of his passes. Wofford beat App. St. 42-31 last year though Edwards missed most of the 2nd half. App. St. has won 38 of their last 39 home games, but I think Wofford gets the win tonight. They have the power running game to keep App. St off the field and the better defense.

This is the reason I will play the Under in this game. I expect Wofford to try to control the clock and run the ball . Both teams score in the high 30s and give up low 20s, if any defense is played it will go Under 67.5.
