Any Canadiens With Commerical Financing Connections?

I have a financial package/proposal for a group looking to build about an $80 million office/retail building in the Alberta area. It is hard enough getting banks to lend on projects in the US.....now adding a different country to the equation seems to make it even more difficult.

I thought maybe if someone has some good bank conections in Canada this way I would have eliminated at least one hurdle.

if you are bringing business to an area maybe contact the mayor of the city and ask for assistance/guidance??

I would think they already checked out some of their options locally and are looking a little more before deciding. It would be a great payday if I found terms on close to $50 million.
